Hi there, Friends! Happy New Year's Eve! As we usher in a new year, I like to pause to reflect on the year that's passed. The 2017 favorites include an assortment of thrifty repurposed and upcycled projects, seasonal garden decor, and junkin' adventures. As is often the case, I was somewhat surprised by the two most popular posts of the year, and as always I'd love to hear your personal favorites...
Thank God it's thrifty Friday, Friends! Last week I shared that my thrifting adventures may be slightly limited during the next several weeks due to seasonal allergies. However, it just so happened that this week the day that the pollen count was lowest was also the day of the Finds' warehouse sale. Woo-hoo! Let's start with this fabulous mid century modern bowl set-- it seems fitting for the final Friday's Find of 2017...
Happy Wednesday, Friends! During this week between Christmas and New Year's celebrations, I'm still enjoying holiday goodies and every season I like to try something new. Come see how to whip up these scrumptious easy peasy eggnog cookies--with just three ingredients! I've also selected features from the Rustic & Romantic Creating Christmas party....
Merry Christmas Eve, dear Friends! I'd like to take the opportunity to wish you all a blessed Christmas and a new year that's filled with peace and joy! Thank God it's thrifty Friday, Friends. Can you believe Christmas is just a few days away? Like many of you, I've been busy baking and shipping gifts this week in anticipation of the holiday and I didn't make it to the thrift stores. However, I do have a few fairly recent finds that I haven't had a chance to share yet...

Happy Wednesday, Friends! With less than a week until Christmas, I'm squeezing in one last 15 Minute Fix for 2017--a simple last minute gift idea. I made mine for Ginger Grand, but depending on the mug and condiments you choose, this mini cocoa station could be adapted for any age...
Hi there, Friends! As promised earlier this week, today I'm sharing the holiday accents I've added to my bedroom. I've kept it simple and rather than buying anything new, I've shopped my home instead, to create a calm and cozy Christmas bedroom....
Thank God it's thrifty Friday, Friends! It was a week of soft and cozy winter finds, starting with this handmade yarn wreath. Though it needs a little love, it won't take much to refresh it for the winter months!

Happy Wednesday, Friends! Today I'm excited to be co-hosting the Creating Christmas link party! It's my third year to participate in the fun week long event hosted by Jann at Have a Daily Cup of Mrs. Olson. Each host of the day shares a different theme and then you can join in by sharing your related projects and decor, so be sure to check the daily links at the the end of my post. Yesterday, Carol from Art and Sand, delighted us with a Homemade Christmas. Today I'm layering naked greenery with vintage, handmade and repurposed thrift store finds to create a Rustic and Romantic Christmas....
Hi there, Friends! It's often said that the kitchen is the heart of the home and I find this especially true during the Christmas season. Come on in! My vintage kitchen is decked out for the holidays. It's small but cozy and you may even find a mischief visitor or two...

Happy Wednesday Friends! Today I'm participating in the Cozy at Christmas Holiday Blog Tour. Whether you're new here, or a regular, I'd like to wish you a warm welcome! Over the years, I've used a variety of colors to decorate for Christmas, from traditional red and green to neutrals and metallics. This year, I've decided to embrace the nontraditional color palette in my living room for the holidays. My vintage holiday decor ranges from robin's egg to deep turquoise and blush to hot pink. Grab a cup of coffee, get comfy and let's get started!
Hi there, Friends! If you're like me and have a tendency to hoard vintage linens even when they're not in the best of condition, then today's project is for you! No linens, no worries-- I'll how you how to create the same DIY garland and tree skirt with supplies from your local thrift store with absolutely no sewing required! Grab your trusty scissors and let's get started...
Thank God it's thrifty Friday, Friends! I don't know about you, but this time of year is so busy, my visits to the thrift stores have been limited. Since I only have a couple of items to share, I thought it would be fun to show you how I styled my first find. These adorable vintage snowman plates from France inspired a whimsical holiday tablescape....

Hi there, Friends! If you are new here, visiting from the Christmas Porch Tour, welcome! This is my first year to participate and I look forward to seeing lots of outdoor Christmas inspiration. There will be links at the end of the post so you can tour more festive Christmas porches that are decked out for the holidays! Since I don't really have a porch, I like to create seasonal retreats in my garden gazebo. Take a little stroll with me for a very vintage Christmas in the gazebo...
Thank God it's thrifty Friday! Recently I attended a local church holiday craft sale and vintage market. Today I'm sharing my finds from both. First, can we talk about this sweet little handmade doily garland?
Happy Thanksgiving dear Friends! I am enjoying time with my family for the holiday. If you stopped by for Vintage Charm, the party and features will resume next week, on November 30. Have a blessed holiday!
Happy Wednesday, Friends! Did you know Small Business Saturday is coming up this weekend? As the small business owner of two Etsy shops, I try to support other small businesses and also to shop locally during the holidays. Last weekend I shopped two local holiday sales: Vintage Market Days and an annual church sale. I enjoyed both so much that I wanted to share them with you....
Hi there, Friends! Many of you expressed curiosity regarding my plans for the vintage player piano roll I scored thrifting a few weeks ago. Well today I'll show you how I repurposed it as a vintage farmhouse Christmas sign and how you can create one too, using craft paper. Oh, and if calligraphy or beautiful handwriting isn't one of your skills, no worries--it's not one of mine either! I'll show you a simple trick to fake it...

Happy Wednesday, Friends! Today I'm sharing a fun project to add a little whimsy to your holiday curb appeal. Yes, I know Thanksgiving is still a week away. {If you missed my vintage Thanksgiving mantel, you can see it here.} It's one of my favorite holidays, so much so, that I'll be stepping away from the computer screen all next week to spend time with family. The thing is, I really like to savor the Christmas season which for me, means getting a head start on holiday crafts, and that brings me back to today's project. She's really too feminine to be called a snowman--isn't she sassy? Come see how I repurposed this vintage milk can and dressed her up with things I already had on hand...
Hi there, Friends! I'm really excited to share a new project with you that will add a touch of elegance to your dining chairs during the holiday season. The greenery used is a mixture of preserved and faux so it will take you from Thanksgiving through the Christmas season--plus it couldn't be easier to assemble!

Hi there, Friends! A few weeks ago, when I shared tips for creating a beautiful home on a budget, I illustrated just how much of my decor has been upcycled from estate sale, thrift store and yard sale finds. Today, I want to show you several different ways I use thrifted vintage plates as wall art. It's an inexpensive way to add classic charm to any room...
Thank God it's thrifty Friday, Friends! As promised, today I'm sharing the first part of two posts featuring my finds from my thriftathon with Cecilia B. Can you believe the size of this frame? I'm not one to pass on vintage frames and at 3' x 4', it's the largest I've come across thrifting. I love its curvy details and it was only $2! Stay tuned Sunday to see how I'm using it!

Over the last several years, we've forged a special bond from our shared passions for faith, thrifting and blogging. We always have fun sharing food and fellowship during our annual thriftathon. Tag along for a virtual tour, as I share our adventures!
Hi there, Friends! Recently I updated the vintage dining chairs for my kitchen table with chalk paint. Undecided if I wanted to commit to painting all four, I started by painting two with my favorite brush on chalk paint. Then, after living with purposely mismatched chairs for a few months, I decided I was ready to paint the other two. When I was blessed to receive two cans of Rust-Oleum Chalked spray paint in a giveaway from Lauren at Wonderfully Made, I chose the Linen White shade so I could compare the two paints and share my results with you. Thank you to Lauren and Rust-Oleum! {This is not a sponsored post but I have included affiliate links for DIYers. See full disclosure here.}
Thank God it's thrifty Friday, Friends! Every once in awhile, I happen to come across a vintage find that I've never seen before. I consider myself pretty familiar with vintage Pyrex patterns, but this Moon Deco covered casserole, was a new one for me!

Happy Wednesday, Friends! As temperatures drop, nothing says fall, quite like a soft, comfy throw. Would you believe I made this cozy pom-pom throw for less than $10? Plus, there's almost no sewing required--if you can sew a button, you can make this simple lap throw...
Hi there, Friends! What comes to mind when you hear the word collection? A hutch full of matching dishes inherited from a loved one? A mismatched assortment of whimsical animal figurines? The best collections are gathered over time, treasured and displayed--not tucked away in a cabinet. There's no specific number that qualifies as a collection. In fact, mine each started with only a few pieces. Today, I'm sharing a simple, yet elegant Thanksgiving mantel that highlights just three pieces of my thrifted vintage transferware collection. If you're not a collector, no worries--a similar mantel can be styled by shopping your home, garden and maybe a trip to the grocery store...
TGITF Friends! We've finally had some weather that feels like fall and I have loved it! Ready for this week's fabulous finds? Several of this week's vintage treasures are from the same estate sale, starting with this gorgeous vintage crystal bead necklace...
