Hi there, Friends! Today is the first day of Children's Book Week, which was established in 1919 and is the longest-running national literacy initiative in the country. As a homeschool mom, I had the privilege of teaching all three of my children to read. I'm convinced that instilling a love for books and reading in our children is the best thing we can do to nurture a passion for learning.
