Happy Wednesday, Friends! This holiday season, I decided to do something a little different and add a few festive accents to my bedroom by shopping my home...
Hi there! Throughout the weekend, I saw photos and posts from friends decorating for Christmas. There's just something about this joyous season that brings out the child in us, isn't there? Today I'm sharing my mantel and a simple tree skirt, both inspired by The Nutcracker Ballet.
TGITF Friends! There's nothing like a thrifty box of Shiny Brites to put me in the Christmas spirit! Don't you love the box too? I'm as excited to decorate with it as I am the ornaments!

Happy Wednesday, Friends! For many of us, the holidays are often the busiest season of the year. Today I'm sharing a project that is so simple, it doesn't even fall into the 15 Minute Fix category! {By the way, that series will resume after the holidays!} No paint or glue necessary--all you need is an assortment of pin frogs, a topper for your "tree" and 5 minutes!
Hi there, Friends! I enjoy the challenge of crafting with thrifted treasures. Today I'm sharing a fun project that I created by combining a few of my recent finds.
Thank God it's thrifty Friday, Friends! Can you believe it's less than a week until Thanksgiving? It's fun to discover seasonal treasures during my thrifting adventures. I picked up this vintage orphan Pilgrim boy shaker by Hallmark, hoping I just might find his mate. You never know, right? Well instead I found a sweet little Pilgrim girl, a Gurley candle from the sixties. I have always admired their distinctive features. I didn't realize when I found her, how similar in size they are. Don't they make a cute couple? Just in time for Thanksgiving!

Happy Wednesday, Friends! Welcome, to everyone visiting for the Holiday Recipe Blog Hop, I'm glad you're here! I'm looking forward to pinning lots of new recipes for the upcoming holiday season. It's no secret that I have quite the sweet tooth--so today I'm sharing a few of my favorite Christmas sweets.
Hi there, Friends! Are you hosting for Thanksgiving or Christmas, or perhaps New Year's Eve? Today I'm sharing a DIY project that could easily be completed in a weekend--before guests begin to arrive for the holidays. Upgrading the hollow core doors in my kitchen had been on my "to-do" list for ages. While there's many ways to upcycle doors and no shortage of tutorials out there, I opted for something a little different. Oh, and if you are perfectly happy with your doors, but would love to switch your doorknobs for vintage, keep reading!
Happy Saturday, Friends! Today Jemma, from At Home with Jemma is featuring Secret Garden Herbs as one of her Etsy Christmas shops! She'll be sharing special selections...
Thank God it's thrifty Friday, Friends! I hope you're having a wonderful week. I found some real treasures--the kind I'm not likely to part with! Would you believe, I had just pinned these very dishes as ones to watch for when I found them the following day? Even better, I paid less than .50 for the two plates and cup! You'll be seeing more of these lovelies during the holidays. The pretty Christmas Holly Berry patterned milk glass was made in the sixties by Termocrisa, the brand manufactured in Mexico by Fire-King. Isn't it festive?

Happy Wednesday, Friends! During the fall and winter months, I find it so convenient to make soup in the crockpot. Today I'm sharing my recipe for garden fresh organic herb stock that's flavorful and nutritious, plus it can be frozen, so it's always on hand when it's time to make soup.
