Happy Tuesday, Friends! Today I'm delighted to join my talented friends for the Spring/Easter Tablescape Blog Hop hosted by dear Rita from Panoply. Come on in--I've set a whimsical sweet treats Easter bar on the buffet and I'd love you to join me

If you've hopped over after visiting Patti from Pandora's Box, welcome! For my Easter treat bar, I knew I wanted to pair these sweet Pier One bunny plates...

...with my vintage jadeite.

I styled from left to right, gathering and arranging dishes before adding the food. Here's a quick before and after.

I had these pretty dollar store muffin cups on hand and they're also perfect for the peeps.

The vintage rabbit bell...

...and cookie jar are both previous thrift store finds made in Japan.

Here's a view of the entire buffet:

Thanks for stopping by today! Next on the hop is Linda from Life and Linda!

I LOVE the idea of an Easter goodie bar. I mean, who doesn't LOVE goodies, Easter or otherwise? I'm wondering how on earth I managed to miss those adorable bunny plates from Pier One. I used to stalk that store. Seriously, I knew the employees by name, and was thankful that they never called the cops on me :-)
ReplyDeleteThank you, Pattie! I can relate--it's been several years since our local PO closed, but I do remember that I waited forever for the rabbit plates to go on sale!
DeleteCecilia I always look forward to your Jadeite pieces because I love their color and that they are vintage make them even more special. I have the pink Moss pitcher & glasses and adore them also. Your Easter bar is perfect and I would prefer a cuppa to go along with those muffins in the dollar store's muffin cups. Love the peeps too, although I buy them, the grands eat them when they visit...they are too sweet for me, but I love to have them in all colors. Always fun to see all the inspiration you share at these hops.
ReplyDeleteThank you for your sweet comments, Kari. I would love to see your pink Moss pitcher!
DeleteStunning jadeite and delicious post!
ReplyDeleteThank you, so much!
DeleteThis post made my mouth water!! Yum! Something really clever that caught my eye was how you placed the milk bottles in the paper cups - cute idea! This is such an inviting buffet of treats!
ReplyDeleteThanks, Patti!
DeleteCecilia, your whimsical Easter treats buffet is lovely. I always enjoy seeing your vintage Jadeite pieces and how you use them for tabletops. I will take a cup of coffee with a macaron or two…they are a favorite treat of mine. Happy Spring and a blessed Easter!
ReplyDeleteThank you, Pam! Coffee and macarons coming right up! ;)
DeleteA lovely sweet treats bar. The macarons look so pretty. The milk bottles are so cute dressed. Love your Jadeite pieces. Always a pleasure joining you.
ReplyDeleteThank you, Linda! Happy spring!
DeleteCecilia, What a great buffet. The lovely bunny cookie jar reminds me of Fern, my white bunny who I occasionally embellish. Your bunny bell is so unique too and goes so beautifully with your collection of jadeite. The muffins and peeps look so cute in their floral muffin tins. The mint green and peach quilt runner adds such cozy home interest. It looks so very welcoming. Enjoy your treats and Happy Easter!.
ReplyDeleteThanks so much and happy Easter to you!
DeleteCecelia, a goodie bar would be dangerous in my home. I have a sweet tooth that has already gone through much of a bag of jelly beans. Love the idea though. Great for a party! I'm always thrilled to see your vintage Jadite. I gave what few pieces I had to my niece who collects Jadite. I'll share this post with her. Thanks for the inspiration! Happy Spring and Happy Easter!
ReplyDeleteSarah, I can relate especially when it comes to chocolate! Thanks for visiting and sharing with your niece and happy Easter to you!
DeleteCecilia, Your bunny plates from Pier 1 are adorable, as is your treats bar! I love the cute touch and addition of the baking cups on the bottoms of the milk bottles. As always, it’s a treat to join you at the table and hop with you. Wishing you a happy Spring!
ReplyDeleteThanks so much, Mary!
DeleteA cute mix of your jadeite with the Pier 1 bunny plates and thrifted cookie jar and bell, Cecilia! I sold almost all of my jadeite last year, keeping a small fraction, but it's fun to visit yours. A treat bar would be Mr. P.'s preferred menu for main meal, lol. I do enjoy having a treat after almost every meal, so this would definitely be a winner in our household, especially when J visits! Thank you so much for the fun Easter bar, and I'll have a mocha, please!
ReplyDeleteOne mocha, coming right up! Thanks for kind comments and being the hostess with the most-est!
DeleteHow fantastic! I LOVE the vintage colors on your Easter bar. Hopefully our kitchen reno will be finished soon so I can participate in the next tablescape blog hop!
ReplyDeleteThanks Ricki, I can't wait to see your new kitchen!
DeleteCecilia, your Easter sweet treats bar looks fabulous! I love seeing your wonderful Jadeite collection and I remember those bunny plates from Pier 1 - they are darling and even better on sale. I'll have a mocha please and thanks. It was lovely hopping with you and wishing you a fantastic Easter!
ReplyDeleteThanks so much, Kim and happy Easter to you!
DeleteCecilia, your Jadeite pieces are perfect for Easter. M&M's look doubly delicious in your bowls for some reason!! I love the cheerful, looks vintage, napkin or placemat with the flowers and checks. It is perfect for spring and sets a fun tone for you adorable treat bar. I hope you have a joyous spring and Easter!🐣🐇🌸
ReplyDeleteThank you, Ann! Everything tastes better in jadite, lol! Happy Easter to you!
DeleteSuch a "sweet" dessert bar Cecelia. Love when you incorporate your collection of jadeite into a table setting. Those beautiful greens add such vibrancy to any setting. The bunny plates are very sweet and set the scene for an enjoyable trip to the dessert bar. Have a wonderful Easter.

Thank you, Lynne! Happy Easter to you as well!
DeleteCecilia your bunny plates are adorable – and I’ve always loved your jadeite collection. You’ve used them together here in such a fresh and pretty way. And the Peeps peeking out of their little cups made me laugh – whimsical is the perfect description for this fun dessert bar! It’s always great hopping with you - hope you have a lovely spring!
ReplyDeleteThanks so much, Barbara. Happy spring to you!
DeleteCecelia, the soft green of the jadeite is a perfect choice for the beginnings of spring. I especially like the vase. And those cute bunny plates are so charming for an Easter buffet. The yummy treats will brighten anyone's visit! Wishing you a Happy Easter
ReplyDeleteThank you, Sandra! Lovely hopping with you and happy Easter!
DeleteWhat a great idea for Easter Cecelia! A sweets bar isn't something I would have thought of. The macarons look delicious. I visit our local market every week to treat myself to a few from a fabulous macaron maker! I love the jadeite at Easter, and all spring really. It's such a pretty shade of green. I will definitely be borrowing the idea of the little milk bottles tucked into cupcake cups! I have lots of both. Wishing you a very Happy Easter!
