Greetings, Friends! Are you drawn to chalkboard menus and signs? If you love the look but freehand lettering isn't your strength, today I'll show you my simple tips for creating decorative chalkboards of all sizes

Here's a quick before and after where it's currently displayed on my plant sanctuary gallery wall.

1. Stencil it! If you have a certain message or design in mind, you can probably find just the right stencil or create unique messages like mine by combining individual letter and word stencils--the stick-on varieties make it even easier.
2. Instead of chalk, I use a white pencil. It's easier to use than chalk but still erases if you make a mistake or want to change the message.
This is such a fun way to personalize a space or gallery wall. The possibilities are endless--what will you stencil on your chalkboard?
