Greetings Friends! Today we're taking a little visit to one of my favorite Fredericksburg stores, Smitten!
Thank God it's thrifty Friday, Friends! Today's feature originates from one of America's oldest crafts--corn husk dolls! Almost thirty years ago, Nan's dolls took the primitive craft to a whole new level delighting collectors with their intricate design. Look at Miss Christmas with her sled full of presents--isn't she charming? SOLD!
Happy Wednesday Friends! As promised, today I am sharing how to use a metal dress form to create a Nutcracker Ballet inspired Christmas tree. You may be surprised to learn where I found the materials...

Happy Saturday, sweet Friends! I woke up this morning to a pleasant surprise--I was chosen by Rose of Fine Craft Guild as honorary co-host of the week! She is featuring my free eBook, Have Yourself a Thrifty Little Christmas at this week's party. That also means you'll be able to link your inspired creations to the party here. {**If you stopped by to get a peek at the special Christmas project I've been promising on Sunday's post, it is still coming--first thing Sunday morning!**} I want to thank Rose for the feature and I'll hope y'all will drop by and show her some love!
Happy Wednesday Friends! Though it is still a few months away here, I've read we're in for a wet winter. I don't know about you, but I just hate getting my feet damp--it makes me cold all over! So began my hunt for some cute rain boots...
