For a Rainy Day!

Happy Wednesday Friends! Though it is still a few months away here, I've read we're in for a wet winter.  I don't know about you, but I just hate getting my feet damp--it makes me cold all over! So began my hunt for some cute rain boots...

After searching everywhere locally, I found these at  I couldn't believe their selection--pretty much any color or style and many are on clearance! I have short legs so the calf boots fit me best.  We had a rainy weekend, so I already tried them out.  While waiting in line at an estate sale, another shopper wanted to know where I got my cute boots ;)  Here's a few others to have you splashing in style! {Click on the link to check size availability or see more styles.}

Aren't these toddler boots adorable? Ginger Grand's current favorite superhero is Ironman, so of course I had to order some for Christmas!

 I thought the little ladybugs were just too cute!

There's a fun assortment of umbrellas as well.  I actually had a similar bubble umbrella ages ago!

Which rainy day item would you choose?

Would you like to comment?

  1. I love them all! I find I can't walk in the tall rain boots. Are the shorter ones comfortable and easy to walk in? Those throws are delicious!!

  2. Love my wellies! When we lived in England, of course we each had to have a pair, and they came home with us. They are perfect for any kind of rainy, mucky weather. Love Target, too!

  3. Awww, those are so cute, Cecilia! I have an old pair with whales but I noticed the sole has finally split on one. Oh darn, I'll have to buy a new pair. ;) I like that yours are shorter too. I need to check those out!

  4. Hot chocolate...that's what I would choose!! I would skip the rainy outing and curl up by the fire, but your boots are cute enough to place next to the hearth as decor. I would not be keeping them in the closet!

  5. I have two pairs, a short pair and a tall pair. The short pair is from Target (clearance last year for a song!) They come in quite handy when taking out the dog:)xoKathleen

  6. We are having a wet fall here in Georgia and I am hopping over to right now to look for some booth. Your post was very timely for me!

  7. I have an old pair of black garden boots with green soles ... not fashionably, but they keep my feet dry. Will have to check out for pretty ones to wear when I go thrifting. I love the classic dot, but would need something pretty to wear with them. Thanks for your interesting post.

  8. Cute boots! Aren't those toddler ladybug boots just the sweetest? I had a clear bubble umbrella in the 70's. And a bright yellow raincoat. It's cold here tonight. I'm sitting in my chair under a plaid throw! :) Thanks for visiting my blog and the compliments on my craft room. You're very sweet.

  9. I desperately need some rain boots and these are too cute! I didn't realize Target had these adorable goodies!! So my questions is does one pick their size if the order online? Are they supposed to be a little big? I never had any before! Hugs!!

  10. I love rain boots and you shared some real fun ones Cecilia. Target always has some cute ones in their stores every year. I bought some children bug one's one year after Winter on clearance. I have a few pair. I placed my plaid ones out on the porch last year and it did some damage to them. Darn!
