Greetings Friends! Years ago, I found this whimsical metal sun at a yard sale. Something about him just makes me smile and he's been hanging on a tree in my garden ever since. Recently, he inspired a repurposed garden sign...
TGITF Friends! After a hectic schedule last week, I'd promised myself I was going to stay home Friday and get some work done. Then just before I went to bed Thursday night, a Facebook yard sale post caught my eye. You probably know where this is headed...

Greetings Friends! At my house, gathering to watch It's a Wonderful Life was a Christmas tradition. Now, you may be wondering why I am bringing up holiday traditions in the heat of July. The classic movie is chock-full of wonderful quotes and one of my favorites is from Donna Reed's character, Mary. "Bread that this house may never know hunger, wine that joy and prosperity may reign and salt that life may always have flavor." Don't you love it? Today I'm sharing several of my latest garden projects and the first is--you guessed it--salt!
Thank God it's thrifty Friday, Friends! I know you've heard me say it before and you'll probably hear me say it again, but one of the biggest reasons I am addicted to thrifting is the thrill of the hunt. I never know what treasure is just around the corner and waiting to be discovered. In this case, delightful art was hidden inside a plain Jane book cover.

Happy Wednesday, Friends! Recently I received the cutest gift from my thoughtful friend, Carly. She gave it to me at our Bible study one evening and I could hardly wait to play with it! The following morning, this playful summer mantel came together almost effortlessly...
Greetings Friends! Before my post today, I just had to share who was hanging out at my house! If you follow me on Instagram, you've probably seen multiple photos of this baby deer who found a resting place in my front yard, tucking its feet under and sometimes even sleeping with its chin down on the ground. On the first day I took a photo, it never moved, even when I worked in the area for awhile. At first I was concerned it might be ill, as one this size usually travels with Momma, and it was still a little wobbly on its legs. However, I've since seen it frolicking in the neighborhood and it seems to be fine. Sweet little fawn!
Thank God it's thrifty Friday, Friends! Last weekend I went to a yard sale full of antiques. There were lots of pretties to behold, but my eyes landed on this starfish. When I picked it up, the owner told me it was very old, probably thinking that would seal the deal for me. Truth be told, in my mind, it was sold as soon as I saw it. There are times when I just know something is meant to come home with me. Do you ever feel that way?

Hello Gorgeous, yes you! I like to surround myself with little things that make me smile, like the message on these nesting boxes. There are days I come inside from working in the garden wearing my grungy garb that is anything but gorgeous but when I see the writing on the box, I'm reminded to just enjoy the moment and not take myself too seriously as I sit down to work on the computer! Today is my craft studio reveal and while I've shared several recent projects to update the room, now I'm showing how it all fits together.
Greetings Friends! Today I'm sharing a fun project for the small craft space I have been slowly but surely updating, which also happens to be related to a special invitation...
TGITF Friends! This week I'm sharing the rest of the fabulous finds from a neighborhood community yard sale I attended a few weeks ago. It's a week of keepers, starting with this lovely vintage silver double spout gravy boat. It's perfect to add to my collection, especially now that I have an easy way to clean it...

Greetings Friends! I'm curious, what's your method for completing decorating projects in your home--within several days or over a longer period, like weeks or even months? Most of the time when I tackle a project, I'll confess it's with a specific time frame in mind. It may take longer than I anticipated, and I may have more than one project going on at the same time, but overall I am a very start-to-finish type of girl. Depending on the task, it could be hours or a few days, but I usually finish within the week. However, this year I adapted a more relaxed approach when I decided to refresh a guest bedroom...
Thank God it's thrifty Friday, Friends! I feel like I say something similar each month, but seriously, how is it July already? I promised more fabulous finds from my recent yard sale extravaganza and this week it's Christmas in July, starting with this charming vintage tablecloth. The details and colors are just gorgeous--definitely one of the prettiest I've seen! Available
