Happy Tuesday, Friends! Welcome to the Christmas Tablescape Blog Hop hosted by dear Rita from Panoply. My homespun holiday breakfast table setting celebrates all things gingerbread from vintage handmade napkins to a set of plates I scored at a yard sale and a gingerbread house makeover
If you've hopped over from visiting Mary from Home is Where the Boat Is, welcome! I'm so happy you've stopped by! The inspiration for my Christmas table began with this brand new set of plates I recently scored for $3 at a yard sale.
Although gingerbread decor is very trendy right now, I've had an affection for it for as long as I can remember. I made these whimsical napkins in the 90s when my kids were Littles!
As soon as I eyed the set of plates, I knew they would pair beautifully with my jadeite.
I really love the different cookie recipes on each plate.
A few weeks ago, I shared the details for this dollar store gingerbread house glow-up. You can see the before, here!
Would you like peppermint in your Godiva cocoa?
The adorable cinnamon gingerbread men and heart ornaments are another yard sale find that I've had for ages.
The painted candy cane and gingerbread boy box are previous thrift store finds and the mini salt and pepper shakers are from a Cracker Barrel holiday season past.
I sewed the gingerbread men and candy cane pillows the same holiday season that I crafted the handmade napkins.
Happy Homespun Holidays!
Here's a sneak peek of more Christmas decor in my vintage kitchen--stay tuned to see the rest later this month!
