For the Love of Tea Cups - Whimsical Spring Tablescape

Happy Tuesday, Friends! Welcome to the Spring/Easter Tablescape Blog Hop hosted by Rita from Panoply! I'm sharing a whimsical spring setting celebrating my love for tea cups. You'll get a glimpse of how I use favorites from my collection in various unexpected ways from serving to decor

If you hopped over after visiting Kari from Me and My Captain, wasn't her table setting adorable? The color palette for my spring table is inspired by the sweet Taylor Smith & Taylor Ever Yours Boutonniere pattern. Once I decided on the dishes, it was just a matter of shopping my home for the rest!

I happened to have the tea pot, napkins, and runner in the perfect shade that complements the pattern.

Remember this pretty peony arrangement I scored for $3 at Goodwill last year?

I had so much fun creating individual Easter charcuter-TEA cups for each place setting!

I added mismatched tea cups to the dining room chandy for elegant whimsy.

  1. I love your table, and the soft turquoise color, because that’s one of my favorites. The teapot is so pretty, and I love the tea cups that have the turquoise interior. I have a set of cups that have a sage interior and they are among my favorites. The charcuterie teacup is so cute. I’ve not done that before, but I am totally taking that idea. I also like that you have mismatched tea cups hanging from your chandelier. How striking!

  2. Cecilia I never tire of your shopping "finds"...it seems when I find the time to thrift shop I am always a day late and a dollar short. LOL. The chandy is so cute and clever. The turquoise is refreshing and how fortunate that your teapot, table runner and napkins match your dinnerware. I love when I can shop my home. The Easter charcuterie tea cups are full of goodies, who could resist? ...and Peonies are one of my favorite flowers in the Spring, great buy on those. It is always fun and interesting to blog hop with you as you give me great intentionș to shop the thrift shops...I just wish you would also give me the energy. 🥰 🐇🐥🐑
