Vintage Charm Features of the Week:
Cecilia’s Pick
There's just something about rustic chalkboards that add instant farmhouse charm--even more so when they are upcycled from vintage finds. Diana at Adirondack Girl @Heart did just that when she crafted Four Farmhouse Chalkboards Made from Vintage Junk. Diana shared her tutorial for creating her unique pieces, most of which she will be taking to the Shaker Craft Fair. I can certainly see why she kept this one for her gallery wall. Simply lovely, Diana!
Kathleen’s Pick
When I saw Cathy from Vintage, Paint & More's collection of lovingly handmade crocheted afghans, I was truly brought back in time. I still have two afghans that my own mom crocheted for me when I was younger, so I understand. Not only are they beautiful, each one in its own right, but they were specifically made with certain family members in mind. Gifts like these last a lifetime. If you're a crocheter, Cathy provides instructions for each one! Even if you're not, I know you'll appreciate the love and craftsmanship that went into each of her creations. So be sure to drop by and check out her 7 Wonderfully Cozy Crocheted Afghans.
