Happy Wednesday, Friends! It's time for the latest 15 Minute Fix! Today I have a thrifty upcycle that doubles as storage and of course, can be completed in less than 15 minutes...

You may remember this thrift store storage basket I scored a few weeks ago. It was in great condition but as might be expected, the liner was pretty dirty. While the liner was washing...

...I gave the basket and lid a coat of white spray paint. I considered leaving it the original color, but I planned to use it in my pastel colored bedroom and must confess I have a thing for white baskets.

Here it is with fresh paint and a nice clean liner!

I'll be using many of the pink trimmed vintage linens that Audrey gave me in my bedroom and this basket is a convenient way to store them.

It's perfect on the wicker chest at the foot of my bed. {See how to make this DIY pom-pom throw, here!}

Fragrant lavender bouquets can be found throughout my house. The sweet hankie was also chosen from the linens at Audrey's house.

White paint is magic in a can, isn't it? Looks great.
ReplyDeleteThat is so pretty!
ReplyDeleteThe basket is perfect holding hankies...and the white looks perfect in your room!
ReplyDeleteTurned out beautifully and looks so pretty in your room.
ReplyDeleteOne can never have too many cute baskets and I love the open weave of this one - nice job!
ReplyDeleteLooks so pretty painted white. The vintage linens look so pretty there. Thanks for the link back ... glad you are enjoying the linens. I guess I need to get busy and update my blog ... time is just passing so fast and no energy to be creative.
