Summer Tray Styling Tips to Create Extra Tabletop Space

Happy Tuesday, Friends! Today I'm delighted to be joining the Summer on a Tray blog hop hosted by the gracious Katherine from Katherine's Corner! If you love styling a pretty seasonal tray for a special occasion or "just because," you're in for a treat today because you'll find tray decor inspiration from a total of fourteen bloggers

For those of you dropping by after visiting Niki from Life as a Leo Wife , wasn't her kitchen tray lovely? If you're new here, I'm sending you a warm--or maybe I should say scorching hot!--welcome from Texas! If you've been here before, you'll remember the cozy reading nook I shared last month, including a few of my favorite things above. Today I want to show you how to use a large tray to create more tabletop space...

...plus this simple tip: By simply flipping the handled lid of this wicker hamper to the inside, I've created a second charming tray for books within reach of my reading chair

This sweet vintage table was a thrift store find that I upcycled years ago. I love the table, but the top is barely 10" in diameter. By centering this pretty floral round tray on top, it adds an additional 6."

That extra space allows room for everyday favorites...

...plus a few extras like fresh flowers and a mid-morning or afternoon treat!

It's been SO hot the last several weeks that I haven't done much baking lately. While I did not make these yummy raspberry macarons, you can look here for my baking tips to make your own.

Thanks so much for stopping by today!
