Happy Monday, Friends! Have you ever noticed what a big difference that even a small detail can make? Today I'm sharing some of my favorites like these little green knobs that I added to my kitchen cabinets and drawers years ago
I found these lovelies at a flea market before this blog was a twinkle in my eye--they even predate my jadeite collection! They were a birthday splurge at the time and when I took a step back to admire all 28 knobs after replacing the old ones, I sighed with contentment. They were just right and I still adore them today. TIP: During previous Prime Day sales, I've found great deals on some of the decor I'm featuring so remember that this year's sale is next week--July 11 and 12!
Since I loved the look so much, I gradually switched out the knobs in my bathroom and bedroom, too!
While I bought these ceramic Talavera knobs and light switch covers (to match my guest bathroom sink) in Mexico, I've included links for similar ceramic accents. TIP: I noticed a lot of plastic pieces mixed in the feed despite my "Mexican ceramic" search, so be sure to read the fine print in the descriptions before purchasing!

I had been hunting for a round rug to place under the breakfast table for ages so I was thrilled to find this one!
Last but not least--these vintage-inspired glass door knobs I bought to update the previous plain Janes. Remember, the sale begins at 3 AM EST on July 11! TIPS: To score the best deals during Prime Day, make a list in advance of "needs" and "splurges" and compare prices. Also, don't forget to check out deals on streaming services. I usually add a few .99 channels that I cancel before the rate increases. Shop early deals now!
I love glass knobs, and put them in both bathrooms some time ago. I love the vintage look it gives the cabinetry. That little thing can certainly change the whole look of a room. I replaced the kitchen knobs from a cream ceramic to a brushed bronze, and it was like having a whole new kitchen.

ReplyDeleteLove the green depression glass knobs Cecilia! I always wanted those in my kitchen, but my husband brought home mercury glass and so that is what we have. :) Thank you for sharing with Whimsy Home Wednesday.
ReplyDeleteSuch beautiful, unique detail, Cecilia! Thank you so much for sharing at this week's Tuesday Turn About Link Party!
ReplyDeleteDepression glass knobs are my favorite! I always love to find old knobs in antique stores and reuse them on refurbished pieces of furniture. Thank you for sharing this with the Home Imagined Link Party.
