Thank God it's thrifty Friday, Friends! Are you ready for this week's fabulous finds? Today I'm sharing an assortment of vintage children's treasures including this charming Beatrix Potter Peter Rabbit light switch plate cover...
It is Wedgwood and made in England. It would be so sweet in a nursery or child's room. AVAILABLE HERE!
These adorable sheep puppets aren't vintage but they have been protected in the original package and are like new. There appear to have been ordered for a Sunday school project. I am feeling inspired to create an I Love Ewe valentine for Ginger Grand! I am selling a set of six. AVAILABLE HERE!
I also scored six sets of these wooden baby/children's hangers that may also interest crafters. AVAILABLE HERE!
Last but not least, a soft and cuddly Baby's First Pooh in perfect condition minus the tag. It was manufactured by Mattel/Acrotoys in the 90s. AVAILABLE HERE!
Until next time, happy hunting!
28 years ago, with my first child/daughter, I did her whole nursery in Peter Rabbit. Nice finds!
ReplyDeleteForty years ago I did my kids' bedroom in Winnie the Pooh; he still makes me smile. Had a co-worker who had a ROOM devoted to her WTP and company and American Girl Doll collection! I would pick up WTP treasures at GW. She was always pleased. You had a bunch of great finds this week. My mother used to crochet a scalloped design with yarn on wooden coathangers; great for a non slip surface! But my fave were her ones with 5 holes drilled in them with a crocheted chain of 5 wooden clothespins to hang smalls like panty hose or socks on the clothesline with. Great to take outdoors in colder weather, throw it on the line and prevent frozen fingers!
ReplyDeleteGreat finds! I love Winnie and his friends. I have always love Peter Rabbit and have a collection that I pull out at Easter time.
ReplyDeletehugs,
Jann
