Thank God it's thrifty Friday, Friends! Today I'm joining the Late Summer Tablescape blog hop hosted by Chloe at Celebrate & Decorate. I'm wrapping up the summer season with a few of my favorite things: a bee-utiful table and iced coffee in the garden...
I've paired vintage Crinoline dishes and other thrifted treasures with some end of summer bargain finds like these mini buckets filled with garden honeysuckle, plus I already had the bee magnets!
I also shopped my home to create a simple centerpiece featuring a thrifted bee skep and a bee printed burlap citronella candle. If you're familiar with Vera designs, you may have noticed the mod-patterned daisy napkin. It was another thrift store find, and since I only have one, it's perfect in the center of the table.
I love iced coffee--actually I make iced lattes with almond milk--and I thought it would be fun to serve it in vintage milk glass Irish coffee mugs. As a treat, I garnished it with a quartered stroopwafel. ;)
Here's a view of my table for two--if you were here, I'd serve you this tasty treat!
My bee-themed tablescape was inspired by another recent project--my bee-utiful stenciled bistro chair upcycle.
