Hi there, so glad you stopped by for another TGITF! Today's fabulous finds are all about the Fourth of July AND all thrifted for $1 or less! Yep, even this spectacular starry tablecloth :) The tablecloth is staying here in the gazebo--you'll see it again on Sunday. For now, take a stroll with me to see how I used the rest of these patriotic treasures in my garden...
Here's a closer look at this rustic chandelier; a way-back-when yard sale find. If you look closely you can see strands of tiny solar lights that twinkle once it gets dark. I love changing up the look for seasons and holidays. I've even been known to tuck tiny cups of flowers in the fixture. Both the stars and stripes tapers and the blue glass votives were .25 at a weekly sale I attend--cha-ching! My blogging buddy Audrey knows just which sale I'm talking about ;)
The next picture is actually a sneak peek at Sunday's upcoming post, but I wanted you to see where I placed my pretty pewter star--also .25! The festive banner used here as a table runner and red jute ribbon wrapping my flower pots are both thrifty buys from Michaels.
I would love to hear about your latest adventures in thrifting...and until next time, happy hunting!
The candles are great! You are ready for the 4th! Thanks for stopping by The Charm of Home!
ReplyDeleteThank you! My pleasure--great party!
ReplyDeleteOh my Cecilia, what an impression that will make on Sunday. Love the banner as a table runner and how you have used all the thrift store buys. Those candles are just too cute. I need a chandelier with twinkle lights in my back yard.
ReplyDeleteYou are so talented. Yes, I know the Thrift sale you are talking about ... love that place and thanks for the link-back. Audrey Z. @ Timeless Treasures
Audrey, as always thanks for your encouraging words!
ReplyDeleteI really must go to thrift shops more.
ReplyDeleteYou found some great pieces and I see no reason to take the patriotic decor down until Labor Day.
Thanks for the great suggestion, Carol! I go to multiple thrift stores weekly and I am always surprised by what I find :)
