Happy Monday, Friends! Don''t you love little decor touches that bring a smile to your face? As promised when I shared my Christmas home tour, today I'll show you more details about the whimsical vignette that I styled with gifted mushrooms

The cute rattan mushroom was a birthday gift from Dear Firstborn and became the inspiration for my merry mushrooms grouping.

As soon as I opened it, I knew it would beautifully complement the embroidered mushroom hoops that I received for Christmas last year--also from Dear Firstborn! TIP: Add battery-operated twinkle lights to make your vignettes more Christmassy!

You may remember my gathered collection of mushrooms that I featured in last year's enchanted forest table setting. (You can also find my recent Christmas tablescape, here.) TIP: Secure any wobbly mushrooms with TACKY adhesive and add greenery for a festive touch!

For added warmth and fragrance, I wrapped this candle with fresh rosemary sprigs.

HONORED TO BE FEATURED HERE:

Enjoyed seeing your mushrooms. I scored a bag of 90% off fall mushrooms from Hobby Lobby. I painted the tops barn red, added a V of pine garland tie, and a variety of small pine cones, red berry clumps, gold ferns, felt snowflakes, gold pip berries, and/or greenery with tiny red berriesl Every one came out a bit different. I added a loop of gold wire to the top, sticking the ends into the styrofoam with hot glue. With gold string or maroon ribbon for hanging loops, they were so cute! I've never done mushrooms for Christmas and was pleased with the results.
