Happy Tuesday, Friends! Today I'm joining my creative tablescaping friends hosted by Rita at Panoply for our last blog hop of the year. For my Christmas tablescape, I'm sharing an enchanted forest theme featuring vintage and velvet accents...
Fun fact: Did you know that it has been scientifically proven that Christmas decorations increase dopamine? It's true and I have been busy making spirits bright at my house! Just in case you missed it last week, look here for my vintage Christmas home tour!

If you've hopped over after visiting Pam's gorgeous table at Everday Living, welcome to my Texas home! I used a green velvet runner to mimic forest hues and placed a slender flocked tree in the center of the table. Then I added DIY frosted candle holders and a flocked wreath at the base of the tree. (Follow me on Instagram to see a video of this tablescape.)
I found these pretty watercolor-hued tree plates at Penney's--you can read more about how I scored them on sale, here!
...and gathered an assortment of sale and handmade mushrooms for this magical patch. See how to craft velvet mushrooms, here!
Last but not least, I arranged lots of sparkly bottle brush trees in my whimsical forest. If you're curious about my Christmas mantel in the background, stay tuned for my upcoming heirloom nativity post!

Cecelia, such a lovely and refreshing table setting. The pink and green combination is soft and pretty and pairs well with the lovely watercolor china. The small houses on your buffet work really well with the rest of your room. So nice to tour with you today.

Oh, those mushrooms are adorable! And I am partial to a "tree" plate! Your forest them is so clever with your deer and bottle brush trees! Enjoy the holiday season
ReplyDeleteCecilia I adore your buffet of little homes as well as your table of trees. The little pink bow is perfect for the soft muted colors. The mushrooms fit your woodsy scene perfectly and I saw those tree plates on line and seriously thought about buying but I stuck to my guns so to speak by not buying anything new for a while. LOL Storage is the bane of my existence. LOL Happy Holidays!
ReplyDeleteVery sweet table Cecilia, I adore the pink and green. Those mushrooms are the cutest ever. The bottlebrush trees look fabulous on the green velvet runner. The blue green tree plates are so pretty. Love the flatware bundles. Always a pleasure joining you. Happy Holidays.

ReplyDeleteI love your table scape. Merry Christmas
Very pretty Cecilia, I love the soft colors...your woodland scene is so sweet with the snowy greens, little deer, bottle brush trees and the cute hand crafted mushrooms. The tree plates are lovely, and you can use them all winter long. I love the little village on your sideboard too! I loved reading that it's been proven that Christmas decorations increase dopamine, of course, they are instant mood lifters!! Have a wonderful holiday~

Cecilia, I love your Christmas theme-Enchanted Forest, including a little bit of the unexpected--mushrooms. They are so adorable! And perfect for your theme with your evergreen tree plates, bottle brush trees, deer and frosted greenery and candles. I love your choice of colors-the delicate pinks and the greens among all of the snow. So soothing and calm, like a quiet walk in the woods at winter. Have a wonderful Christmas holiday!
ReplyDeleteWhat a lovely tablescape! Loved the deer, the trees, the mushrooms, the coordinating dishes. Just lovely!
ReplyDeleteCecilia, what a charming holiday table! Love the color palette and how you incorporated your trademark pink. The mushroom centerpiece is wonderful and so cute! Wishing you a warm and festive Christmas season!
ReplyDeleteI love the soft colors and all the bottle brush trees! Merry Christmas!
ReplyDeleteYour table is so pretty, and I love how you've mixed so many shades of green. As I was trying to explain to my older daughter, greens never clash. Look in any garden and there will be so many different shades of green from deep blue "midnight green" to bright lime green. I also like your mushrooms: I've seen a few beautiful Christmas vignettes this season featuring mushrooms, and I like the trend. I hope it continues, and I'd like to purchase a few on sale at the end of the season. Merry Christmas! XO, Ricki Jill
ReplyDeleteAll the elements have charm, cute deer.
ReplyDeleteCecilia, your table is delightful. I love all the soft colors and your trademark pink. Every detail is perfect. It is always a pleasure to hop with you and join you at the table. Merry Christmas!
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful display. Wishing you and yours a Blessed and Merry Christmas.. God Bless.

ReplyDeleteCecelia, I’m crazy about your mushrooms and enchanted forest theme! The sweet deer, bottle brush trees, blush pink goblets and frosty details make for such a pretty pastel table. As always, it’s a treat to join you at the table and hop with you. Wishing you a very Merry December and Christmas❣️🎄
ReplyDeleteCecilia, what a great look you've assembled here with your forest theme. The rich velvets are the best, with the runner, the mushrooms and ribbons. I love the plates you found at JCP and how you made this all come to life in carrying out the theme. The deer and the bottle brush trees are darling! Wishing you the very best this holiday season, and thank you for being a part of this group of friends!
