Happy Monday, Friends! Are you looking for an easy dessert to serve for a Fourth of July celebration? No worries--I've got you covered and I've already taste tested! You can whip up these delicious cheesecake-inspired parfaits in 15 minutes or less
Here's what you'll need:
8 oz cream or Neufchâtel cheese
4 oz Greek yogurt
2 tablespoons maple syrup
1 teaspoon vanilla
Fresh blackberries and jam or preserves
I opted to use Neufchâtel cheese and Greek yogurt instead of heavy cream as a healthier, lower-fat alternative without sacrificing taste.
Start by blending the softened cheese, yogurt, maple syrup, and vanilla until creamy. Then alternate layers of the cheesecake mixture with the jam, chill, and garnish with fresh blackberries before serving. You'll notice I served mine in vintage parfait glasses, but it would also make a darling mini mason jar dessert. Shout out to Youngest Daughter who sent me her amazing homemade blackberry jam! (Recipe makes 6 mini jars or 3 tall parfaits.) Enjoy!
