Happy Monday, Friends! Today I'm sharing simple homemade heart-shaped butter pats to add a special touch to your table on Valentine's Day or really, any occasion! Best of all, these pretty little pats can be crafted in 15 minutes or less

In case you missed it, I featured these last week in my Vintage Style Galentine Gathering. Ready to make your own?
Here's what you'll need:
1/2 cup softened butter
Optional: mini cupcake liners

First, allow the butter to soften--the exact amount will depend on the size of your heart mold and the quantity you make. Next, fill the entire heart design with butter. Below, you can see that I used a small serrated knife to create a decorative texture.

Last, allow the butter pats to harden in the fridge. You can tell when they are firm by gently lifting a portion of the mold--they should pop out easily. When you are ready to serve, place them in individual mini cupcake liners or directly on the bread, croissants, etc.

How sweet is this?! I have some cute silicone molds but never thought of this trick. Thanks for the great idea! xo Kathleen
