Thank God it's thrifty Friday, Friends! It has been months since I have been to any thrift stores, but I went to a few this week and scored several fashion finds for 50% off, including some Lucky Brand and Earth shoes for $2-$4...
Have you noticed changes in your local thrift stores since the pandemic? Sadly, I'm seeing sparse selections, particularly in the vintage decor and dishes I prefer. You may have noticed that I hardly ever share clothing. Since I'm vertically challenged, I rarely find clothes I like that fit, but this time I found several items. First, I scored this pretty floral dress for $4.25. I love the print and colors. It's soft jersey and I already have a blush pink cami to accommodate the neckline that is lower than I prefer. As the weather gets warmer, I often find it cooler and more comfortable to wear a comfy dress and sandals.
I found the dress and this Hollister athleisure T shirt at Goodwill. ($2.65)
I definitely haven't bought shoes since the pandemic. I am picky about the two Cs--cute and comfortable! Usually when I see cute shoes at thrift stores, they are larger sizes, but I found two pairs at Salvation Army. These gray Lucky Brand flats were $1.98...
...and the Earth shoes were $3.98. I have almost worn out the last pair of Earth shoes I found at Ross several years ago. They are my favorites for walking.
Cha-ching--I spent a whopping $13.32 total (including tax)!
Until next time, happy hunting!
Pretty dress!

ReplyDeleteCecelia,
ReplyDeleteLove your fashion finds!! Maybe once the Spring/Summer yard sales start up, the selection in the Thrift Stores will increase...Usually when things do not sell, people donate them to the Thrift Stores...Thanks so much for always stopping by!!
Hugs,
Debbie
