Happy Monday, Friends! It's finally spring and I'm delighted to join the Bloggers' Best Spring Home Tour! You'll see lovely home inspiration from several different bloggers every day this week. Join me today as I share my vintage favorites gathered from my thrifted collections.
If you hopped over after visiting our sweet host
Kelly from the Tattered Pew, welcome! I always enjoy seeing her beautiful home! Have you noticed that many decor styles tend to overlap these days? Instead of being defined by a specific label, I tend to decorate with what I love, allowing my home to tell my story.
Having said that, I have come to realize that most of my decor embraces the cottagecore aesthetic. The trend has been used to describe everything from clothing and decor to lifestyle choices. I've heard it referred to as "romanticized rural living" and "the feminine cousin of farmhouse decor"--these descriptions definitely tick my boxes!
As we head to the dining room, I never tire of my vintage transferware plate wall. This mostly thrifted collection has been gathered over time.
I named this handsome fellow, Leonardo.
It was inspired by a pair of $5 statuary that I scored at an estate sale several years ago. I call them Eve...
...and Adam.
The whimsical decor brings a smile to my face each time I pass by!
Do you like the scent of hyacinths or do you find them cloying? I enjoy them in a larger space, but the sweet fragrance might be overwhelming in the bedroom.
You'll notice plenty of bunnies and blooms in my spring decor.
Here's a closer peek inside my china cabinet.
I found these cute burlap bags of bulbs several years ago on clearance. Since then, I use them for seasonal blooming bulbs.
Thanks so much for dropping by today!
You're in for a treat--next on the tour is
Stacy from Bricks 'N Blooms! Remember to visit the rest of my friends to find spring home inspiration each day this week!

ReplyDeleteI'm in LOVE with all of you're beautiful dishes!! That collection of Jadeite is stunning. I too am embracing the 'new' cottagecore style and am loving the way it makes my home feel. Thanks so much for sharing your beautiful home!!
ReplyDeleteI love your term "cottagecore". THAT is what I would love to aim for! I am so tired of white kitchens that look like you use the island to do brain surgery on! We'll never say that about my clutter! I never tire of seeing your treasures--sometimes in a different place. That's how treasures SHOULD be used--in my book, anyway! Kathy A
