Happy Monday, Friends! Have you started decorating for spring? Although it's been a colder March than usual here, spring has sprung inside my Texas home! Today I'm sharing a rustic wreath I created with dollar store peat pots...
I chose peat pots so my wreath would be thrifty and lightweight. Ready to make your own? First, give the pots a whitewash patina by adding a little water to white craft paint (1 part water/ 2 parts paint.) Next, while the paint dries, wrap a large embroidery hoop with greenery. I found this tiny leaf trim half price at Hobby Lobby. It reminds me of the creeping fig I have growing in the garden.
Then, arrange the pots facing different directions and use fishing line to attach them to the hoop. (Thread it through the holes in the bottoms of the pots, tie it onto the hoop, and double knot.)
Last, fill several pots with moss and lavender.
