Thank God it's thrifty Friday, Friends! Today I'm featuring two things y'all know I love--yard sales and goodies for the garden! Come check out my bargains...
Have yard sales started in your neck of the woods? I thoroughly enjoyed going to several recent sales after not having the option this past year! These sunny outdoor cushions caught my eye from the car window before I even stopped the car. I was thrilled to see they'd never been used and still had the original price tags--even more so when the price was right at $5 each.
A lightweight weedeater has been on my shop-for list for some time. If any of you have shopped the newer lightweight options, you've probably discovered the same thing I have. They don't make them like they used to! Am I right?! I scored this one for $4 and it works much better than a few I've tried and returned over the last several years. Plus, it is light enough that I didn't feel sore after using it.
These water garden globes are a little larger than others I have and were only .50 each.
The last few items aren't yard sale items, but they are thrifty garden finds. I have been on the lookout for a few larger pots, and this lightweight pair is from Dollar General--stay tuned for an upcoming upcycle!
Last but not least, cute floral garden gloves from Ross that have the coated fingers I prefer. You really can't have too many garden gloves, can you?!
Until next time, happy hunting!
Nice finds and scores! The cushion looks great on the Adirondack. Pretty gloves! Happy Friyay!
ReplyDeleteCute and good discoveries.
ReplyDeleteGreat scores! Cushions are super expensive! Love those pots. I've been hunting for just the right pots for some large front porch topiaries and it can be very frustrating -- large pots are really expensive as well! Crazy. xo Kathleen
ReplyDeleteGreat finds! In Maine we are finally having yard sales again. Went to 2 last Sat. and scored scrapbooking stuff (paper, stamps, rivets, etc.), books to sell, picture frames, stuff to sell, you name it! And hit my Restore where I hadn't been for months!
