Thank God it's thrifty Friday, Friends! In the spirit of the thrifted vs styled "trend"--that many of us were doing long before it was trendy--today I'm sharing my botanical version featuring clearance bargains I scored after Mother's Day
Here's my clearance haul after receiving a treat-yourself Mother's Day gift from Dear Firstborn.
You may remember I propagated minis from a lovely succulent gifted to me by Youngest Daughter several years ago. I've enjoyed them so much that I have kept an eye out for different varieties. Since they tend to be pricey locally, I was excited to find these tiny cuties for $2 each. Below, you can see the simple arrangement I created by adding a vintage doily to a hobnail milk glass dish.
I also styled a beautiful centerpiece featuring...
...the sunny yellow rose bouquets I scored for $5 each displayed in a thrifted hobnail milk glass pitcher.
Last but not least, my head vase, Leonardo received a crown of yellow roses.
I used a mason jar, an inverted frog lid, and moss as pictured below. Stay tuned to see the rest of these gorgeous roses featured in my summer dining room on Monday!
Until next time, happy hunting!
I love the combo of the glass and the doily! I am a doily fan and have them around my house - my mother was really into crochet. So pretty!
