Happy Monday, Friends! Today I'm sharing a delicious high protein dessert you can whip up in minutes. No baking is required to make this refreshing strawberry mousse plus only several ingredients are needed and you may even have them on hand
Ingredients:
1 cup whole milk cottage cheese
1/2 cup fresh sliced strawberries
2 tablespoons maple syrup
Optional healthier cream topping and fresh berry garnish
1/4 cup sour cream
1 tablespoon maple syrup
If you're not a fan of cottage cheese, no worries--neither am I! Like my dark chocolate mousse, once the ingredients are blended, you will not notice the cottage cheese taste or texture.
Start by mixing the ingredients in a blender or food processor. Next divide the mousse into 2 small dishes and chill. Optional: Top with blended sour cream and maple syrup (or honey) and garnish with sliced strawberry before serving. Makes 2 servings with 13 grams of protein each.
