Happy Monday, Friends! Although summer doesn't technically begin until next month, judging by the temperatures, Mother Nature forgot to inform Texas! Today I'm sharing a simple summer mantel pairing vintage milk glass and May garden blooms...
If you love milk glass and would like to start a collection, go thrifting! It is one of those items that I see very frequently. I've even found it at yard sales!
I gathered the blooms to fill my vases from my May garden--notice I used a few spice jars, too.
This gorgeous hydrangea is the newest addition to my garden. Blue sage, honeysuckle, and Blackfoot daisies are all native Texas plants. Oregano and thyme also thrive here. The repurposed canvas art I shared last week and a vintage embroidered runner complete my summer mantel.
I'll continue to refresh the vases as different flowers bloom through the summer.
What's blooming in your May garden?
