Happy Monday, Friends! It's time for the latest 15 minute fix! This simple project combines two thrift store finds to create unique repurposed art in two easy steps--easily completed in less than 15 minutes...
I was instantly drawn to the lovely border of this vintage piano music cover. You can use something similar or any pretty printable that fits your canvas.
I frequently come across discarded art canvases like this one while thrifting. First: Attach a picture hanger to the right side of the canvas.
Next: Flip the canvas over, and use double-sided tape to attach the sheet music inside the frame.
Now it's ready to hang--that's all there is to it!
What a cute idea! I have collected a lot of sheet music over the years. I'll have to make one of these.
ReplyDeleteWhat a great, simple idea. I will have to keep an eye out for canvases; sheet music doesn't seem to come in my way. Had a good time at a twice annual consignment sale--Sun. much of the stuff is 1/2 off. Then hit GW--Sundays last weeks tag color is $1. Today I washed, researched and tagged. Tomorrow I will launder, iron, and sew!
