3 Christmas Lanternscapes You Can Craft in 15 Minutes or Less

Happy Monday, Friends! When it comes to Christmas crafts and handmade gifts, I try to finish mine before Thanksgiving. In the spirit of completing that goal, I'm using 1 lantern to style 3 different lanternscapes that you can craft now. You can make a single lantern in about 5 minutes or all 3 in 15...

My large lantern was a $5 clearance find, but you can use whatever size you like. Ready to make your own?

For each lanternscape, you'll need faux snow, polyfil, bottle brush trees, LED mini lights, and an ornament or figurine. You can see above that my lantern came with a protective block of styrofoam and it was the perfect base for layering the faux snow and small pieces of polyfill.

After you layer the snow and polyfill, arrange several bottle brush trees.

Next, add the mini LED lights. For this style lantern, I found feeding them through the top worked well.

Last, add an ornament or small figurine. This sweet doe and fawn could be displayed from Thanksgiving to January.

Both the snowman featured in the first view and the VW bug ornament were after Christmas clearance finds. The possibilities really are endless!
