Thank God it's thrifty Friday, Friends! Are you ready for this week's fabulous finds? This week, it's all about transferware, starting with this perfect Johnson Brothers Staffordshire Bouquet plate that I added to my vintage plate gallery wall.
I also scored several pieces of antique Clementson Brothers...
,,,3 bread and butter plates, 2 berry bowls, and a cup are AVAILABLE HERE!
This single Wales Old Mill plate made in Japan, is AVAILABLE HERE!
Last but not least, is a Harmony House ironstone creamer, made in Japan, AVAILABLE HERE!
Until next time, happy hunting!
Great finds. That first plate will be lovely for fall tablescapes, too.Transferware is growing on me; I try to limit it to blue and white, but I do love those old-fashioned scenes! I'm sure they'll go quickly.

I confess that I have a Transferware problem. It all started with blue and white Johnson Bros. Coaching Scenes that I bought in the early 1980's. The reason I bought it is because I wanted blue and white dishes like my friend's mom had, which was Currier and Ives and could not find it. I latter found that, so I have that, and moved on to brown and white, green and white and pink and white and one set of multi-color. Yes, I have a problem...but it is so much fun setting the table! Thanks for showing off some of these beautiful styles of dishes.
ReplyDeleteWow you really scored big! My favorite is the Old Mill plate -- love it. xo Kathleen
