I've gathered some of my vintage, thrifted, and handmade treasures in blush and aqua. I decided to mix and match plates and glassware. Two of the place settings feature vintage aqua Hazel Atlas Crinoline plates and blush French champagne flutes I recently scored thrifting.
This collectible vintage bunny bell is another recent thrift store find. I layered ruffled aqua linen tea towels and a grain sack stripe runner that I found in Cypress, last summer. I also paired faux greenery with fresh baby's breath, herbs, and flowers.
You may remember the floral flatware pockets I repurposed from a vintage tablecloth that I also used for my Good Shepherd spring tablescape.
I tucked speckled eggs in the greenery in the center of the table, and at the opposite end of the table from the bunny bell is a nest of smaller eggs.
It's placed in front of one of the floral Cunningham and Pickett Danube place settings with blush wine goblets.
I displayed blush blooms in milk glass footed vases at each end of the table. I've had these bunny salt and pepper shakers for years.
I love pairing elegance with a touch of whimsy, so I couldn't resist adding this upcycled egg garland to my dining room chandy.
Above the mantel, on the gallery wall opposite my dining table, I hung a recent thrift store Hello Spring sign inside the white floral clearance wreath I've been changing up since winter.
Here's a peek of the chandy facing the living room.

ReplyDeleteCecilia, how excited I was to see your mix of aqua and blush. What a beautiful combination of colors. I was happy to see the flatware pocket once again. It helps add so much more to the table and, at the same time, so useful. Your vintage pieces mixed so well together along with your beautiful linen. You certainly know how to bring elegance and vibrance to pieces that others might have discarded as old. It truly brings new appreciation to pieces from long ago. I love it. Happy Easter to you!
