Thank God it's thrifty Friday Friends! Today's feature looked slightly bedraggled at first glance but with a little paint and pondering, it became an egg-cellent upcycle...
When I first saw this thrift store egg garland, I almost passed. It was wired together as a wreath and must have been outdoors because it was faded and filthy! Even so, I saw its potential and thought I had the perfect place for it...
The dead brown leaves had to go and I sponged on fresh paint to brighten the discolored eggs. Now here's where the story get's interesting...

Remember, I thought I had the perfect place--originally I wanted to hang the garland vertically from my china cabinet. I tried it...but no go...and then I tried it horizontally...still no go! Hmm...garland still in hand, I looked around for where I might hang it and my eyes landed here...
...the garland was just right draped over my chandelier! Though I decorate it at Christmas, I wouldn't have thought of decorating it for spring until my first idea didn't work. Lesson learned ;)
Until next time, happy hunting!
MY HEARTFELT THANKS TO THE FOLLOWING FOR FEATURING THIS POST:

Love it Cecilia! I usually hang something from my chandy for spring. Teacups with nests or birds tucked inside. Have done anything yet. I passed up one I think that was identical a couple weeks ago. Darn! lol! Thanks for sharing with SYC.
