Easter Tea for Two!

Greetings Friends! It is starting to feel like spring and I'm all ready for Easter tea. Won't you come join me?

Easter tea party

Maybe it's the teapot and teacups or perhaps the dainty food, but setting the table for tea just feels pretty to me.  Do you agree?  As I was changing my breakfast table for spring, I was inspired to create an Easter tea.  I started with this vintage tablecloth I scored at a yard sale over the summer.

I was instantly smitten with these adorable bunny plates from Pier One.  Most of my dishes are vintage like my jadeite teacups but occasionally I mix them with newer pieces, especially when they are as cute as those bunnies! The lace trimmed napkins were thrifted and like new.

If you've seen any of my other tablescapes, you've seen these charming burlap flatware pockets I found on Etsy and maybe the doily inspired chargers from Michael's--I use both often!

Remember this little bunny? If you missed him, he was a recent find. I couldn't resist this lovely teapot the same shade as my tablecloth when I saw it at Homegoods.  In fact, I saw several cute ones at reasonable prices, too.

As a finishing touch, I used these pre-cut burlap flowers, also from Michael's and added tiny thrifted carrots to create place cards.

  9. You know, I've never made a tablescape... maybe this year? Very pretty! I found one of the white doily chargers at the thrift store lately. I didn't know it came from michaels. I'll look and see if they still have them. Happy Tuesday!
