Thank God it's thrifty Friday, Friends! This week's fabulous finds will appeal to my fellow dishaholics. I discovered a brand I haven't seen before Ceramica Quadrifoglio. This lovely set of 4 blue and white plates was made in Italy...
They are salad/dessert plates and feature a charming fruit design AVAILABLE HERE!
I also scored a few pieces of vintage glassware. A pretty pink depression glass plate...
...and a pair of gorgeous champagne flutes. They aren't marked on the bottom, but they look identical to some French flutes I found on Etsy. All the pretty pink finds are keepers!
Until next time, happy hunting!
I don't know if you already know, but your depression glass plate is by McBeth-Evans manufacturing and is called Dogwood. It was only produced for three years between 1929 and 1932. Great finds!
ReplyDeleteLove the pieces!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful finds, as you can imagine with a nickname of Pinky, I have collected quite a bit of pink depression glass. It all started when my Great Aunt Doris gave me a box full of pink Miss America depression glass. A set of 8 for a tea or luncheon. I think I have the same champagne flutes, by Luminarc.
ReplyDeleteGreat finds. Love the pink! So springy! I love blue and white china. I finally got some of my blue and white plates up on the kitchen soffit--waiting for another "good" day to climb the stepladder for the rest of them. Cortisone shot in my knee is helping!
ReplyDeleteThe plates are beautiful. You will have fun with those if they don't sell quickly.
ReplyDeleteHugs,
Audrey
I'm not much of a blue & white dishes kind of person but I adore pink Depression glass. I have a somewhat large collection of the pink and my mother has lots also. I started collecting it years ago when my fine china was discontinued (right after my wedding!!!) The pink perfectly matches the tiny pink roses in my china. Never have I seen the champagne flutes but they are lovely. Enjoy!
