Thank God it's thrifty Friday, Friends! This week I'm sharing a single thrift store find--a like-new pillow that I gave a simple upcycle...
I was thrilled to score this outdoor pillow. I love the color and it's in excellent condition.
It just needed a little something...so, I decided to stencil it.
You may remember that I often use Sharpie markers to stencil pillows. To get this look, use masking or painters tape to secure the stencil. Pressing gently with a fine point, outline the letters and then go back and fill them in.
For a touch of whimsy, I changed Sweet to Tweet and added a little birdie...

Until next time, happy hunting!
Love the pillow, color and saying! It fits perfect as I like blues and been doing lots of bird watching through my boyfriends windows.
ReplyDeleteGood job Cecilia. The pretty blue will be so nice in your 'secret garden'. Happy Spring.

LOve your springy project. In Maine, we still have lots of snow although the driveway is muddy. That turquoise is such a cheerful color! Haven't tried stenciling with a Sharpie; should try it!
