Thank God it's thrifty Friday, Friends! One perk of thrifting is the assortment of finds I score from faraway places without leaving my small rural town--like this lovely plate from Italy. The back of it reads Maioliche Jessica, (Majolica in Italian.) I love the glazed terracotta design.
Isn't this copper collectible plate from Israel unique? AVAILABLE HERE!
I also found more state souvenir plates. I love the vivid hues of this small Hawaiian Islands plate. AVAILABLE HERE!
As I prepared this post, I learned that the flowering dogwood tree is New Jersey's state memorial tree; hence, the dogwood flower border around this large state souvenir. AVAILABLE HERE!
Last but not least, I have a mini-makeover in mind for this dated art. Stay tuned...
Until next time, happy hunting!
Hi Cecilia,
ReplyDeleteLove your plates. You always seem to find the best bargains. Have a great weekend! Cheryl
I have a plate obsession. That first one is outstanding. Great finds...
ReplyDeleteThat first plate looks like it belongs in a wall gallery of plates. It would be fun to decorate aroom in those colors! I wish this open concept house had more walls; I am afraid state souvenir plates would be another collection! Great bits of history/trivia on those plates!
