Thank God it's thrifty Friday, Friends! I hope you've had a wonderful week! Are you ready for this week's fabulous finds? It's a week of bargains and keepers...
My daughter-in-law's mother is in town visiting from Spain, and when they wanted to go thrifting, of course I was happy to accommodate them! We went to the Find's warehouse sale, and scored some bargains! I found two pieces of ironstone--the creamer is Federalist and the platter is Buffalo china--can you believe I got both for .25?!
I also found two pieces, a yard each, of this pretty green and white oil cloth. It can be pricey and hard to find, and I love using it outdoors.
As popular as buffalo check is right now, I was surprised to find this fun plate for .25!
These Ball mason jars aren't vintage, but I have some exactly like them that I use for storing crafts in my studio.
Before I go, I want to let you know about two fun Valentine hops I'll be participating in next week! First, on Monday, a Vintage Valentine's Day hop hosted by Amber at Follow the Yellow Brick Home.
Then on Friday, I'll be joining a Valentine Tablescape Hop hosted by Chloe at Celebrate and Decorate!
Until next time, happy hunting!
I have both types of ironstone in my collection. What great prices! Love that oilcloth, too. Sounds like a success! xo Kathleen
ReplyDeleteYou got some amazing prices!
ReplyDeleteGreat treasures, as usual. I would be tempted to paint a wooden word white or silver (or Cricut vinyl) and tack it to the buffalo plaid plate for a statement! Can't wait to see where the oilskin shows up!
