Vintage Market Days Comes to Town!

Greetings Friends! I truly love the small rural town I live in, but most vintage inspired or antique shows require the drive to Austin or at least Fredericksburg, so imagine my delight when I heard that Vintage Market Days was bringing a show right to my home town!

Kerrville Texas

Lately, I've been busier than usual dealing with two insurance claims due to recent hail storms; first my roof, then my car. We've had more hail in the last six weeks than all of the previous years I've been in my home combined, if you can believe! I have also been preparing for Ginger Grand's ten day stay--he will be here by the time you read this!  So... unfortunately I only had a small window in my schedule to browse the show, next time I'll know better. Even so, I snapped quite a few shots to share some of the gorgeous eye candy, so you can browse too! Each link represents the vendor's Facebook page, so if you like what you see, show them some love. I was surprised that some of these shops are not too far from me, like this one in Boerne which is between Kerrville and San Antonio. I found some new places to shop! Okay, how cute are the bunny pillows?

I was fascinated by the artistry of this vendor. All of the flowers and succulents are real, preserved to stay looking just this beautiful! Aren't they stunning?

Forever Green Art

I enjoyed visiting with the sweet couple who own this shop and they had some gorgeous pieces, but I'll confess that vintage fan was calling my name!

I thought these signs were just too cute. I love the rustic wood paired with the fresh white lettering and those mason jar vases!

Handmade pallet signs

Betsy was a kindred spirit and had some charming upcycled pieces and I adore the colors she uses!

Painted shells

I was so impressed with this vendor's ingenuity in repurposing treasures from the past! Honestly, if the map desk isn't fabulous enough, how about that vintage camera lamp?

Or these adorable mini robots repurposed from gadgets like salt shakers?

King's Whimsy

Love the red wagon shelf--so simple but brilliant!

This sign speaks for itself--what's not to love?

Biscuits and gravy

You might need some fresh eggs to go with those biscuits and gravy ;)

I'm sure you won't be surprised that I was absolutely smitten with this whimsical display. That bed....swoon!

I hope you enjoyed browsing the market with me! When I searched my local Vintage Market Days on Facebook, there were quite a few cities listed. You may want to check to see if one comes to your neck of the woods!

  2. Oh wow, fabulous treasures there! Did you buy anything?! I am in love with the map desk and the wagon shelf. My husband and I were just talking about making my son's red wagon into a planter for his (my husband's) garden. There is such talent and great ideas out there!
