TGITF Friends! Today's feature is a $5 yard sale find. I gave it a fresh coat of paint, some new knobs and a little something extra...
I love to transform a piece of furniture--usually with a dramatic color change. This time, however I actually needed a white piece, so I just cleaned it thoroughly and gave it a fresh coat of spray paint.
The plastic drawer pulls had to go and I found these pretty pastel glass knobs in one of the closets I have been conquering. I had saved them from an old desk I used to have and they created the perfect replacement. Now for that little something extra...
Just because I needed a neutral white for the outside, didn't mean I couldn't add a little pop of color on the inside! I used floral scrapbook paper left from a previous project, gluing two pieces side by side. Gerber daisies...
snapdragons...
...and peonies. Now I have a colorful peek-a-boo garden!

You and your finds, lucky girl! I love what you did with it and I like the drawer pulls a lot. They remind me of buttons and they look so beautiful combined with the wicker and your paint choice!

That is an awesome find! I'm out thrifting now, waiting for my daughter to finish eating her lunch here in the Salvation Army parking lot :-) I hope I find something here ... I have a wall in my hallway that needs a little something. Happy Saturday!
