Friday's Find: $5 Wicker Dresser!

TGITF Friends! Today's feature is a $5 yard sale find.  I gave it a fresh coat of paint, some new knobs and a little something extra...

I love to transform a piece of furniture--usually with a dramatic color change.  This time, however I actually needed a white piece, so I just cleaned it thoroughly and gave it a fresh coat of spray paint.

The plastic drawer pulls had to go and I found these pretty pastel glass knobs in one of the closets I have been conquering. I had saved them from an old desk I used to have and they created the perfect replacement.  Now for that little something extra...

Just because I needed a neutral white for the outside, didn't mean I couldn't add a little pop of color on the inside! I used floral scrapbook paper left from a previous project, gluing two pieces side by side.  Gerber daisies...

  5. Such a nice piece, great size and so useful. Also, I like that you added some color in the drawers. Like the snapdragons the best. Colored knobs are nice on it too.
