TGITF Friends! If you love finding seasonal decor at great prices, thrifting is the way to go. Today's features will add some fall color to my garden until those leaves start to turn...
I enjoy the bright hues of gourds but in the warm Texas hill country, faux works best. No real pumpkins here until mid to late October! I thrifted two of these bags and will use them in empty vessels like the birdbath above.
I like to scatter scarecrows about and needed to replace some weather worn ones. Surprised to learn how expensive they have become, I was a happy camper to find these cheerful guys for $1 or less! The wire urn, candle holder and maize are also thrifted goodies.
Mr. Scarecrow has found a home! Want to make your own banner? Look here. I'll be sharing a Fall garden tour soon...
I would love to hear about your latest thrifted finds! Until next time, happy hunting!
MY HEARTFELT THANKS TO THE FOLLOWING FOR FEATURING THIS POST:
Cecilia ... Love your fence decoration and the happy Scarecrow are so cute. So good to see you today and hope you found more great treasures. Anxious to see your 'pumpkin' when finished. I bought some yellow mums for my porch and hope the deer will leave them alone.
ReplyDeleteHappy week-end.

That trellis is awesome! And I love your mums...
ReplyDeleteI love your finds! Great prices too, on the scarecrows! I just bought a couple of shallow wood bowls and some frames. .99 and $1.99. Love me some bargains!
ReplyDeleteAwesome finds! I could post everyday on thrift store finds ... it's embarrassing :-)
