Happy Monday, Friends! Once the holiday decorations are put away, I shift into organize and refresh mode. Can you relate? While some home maintenance chores are more tedious than others, I find them easier to tackle if I space them out to prevent them from piling up. Join me for my latest 15 minute fix

Several months ago, I shared tips for retouching my painted fence. Today, I'll show you how I touched up several discolored spots on my bedroom ceiling. The previously spackled spots near my ceiling fan started out white but turned grayish over time, so today's project is a quick paint touch-up. (Look here, if you need tips for patching small holes.)
Here's what you'll need:
*Paint (I used Kilz white)
Start by making sure the ceiling is clean and free of dust--a dust mop works great. Then apply the paint to discolored spots using a paint pad applicator. That's all there is to it!

That is simple. We painted our walls in Oct and when the tape was pealed away, some paint got on the ceiling. I saw there is such a device that is like a marker pen you fill with paint. Simple. We’ll be getting to that soon.
ReplyDeleteAll I have done so far is look at the cobwebs in my corners and swat a few within reach; with forced hot air heat and several resident spiders, they happen fast! I have located my LONGGGG handled duster, though! Sometimes I set my oven timer for, say, 20 min. and power on through the tasks on top of the list!
ReplyDeleteThis is such a helpful post! So many times I have thought about tackling my ceiling fan and this definitely gives me a push to get it done. Thank you for linking up with the Home Imagined Link Party.
