Repurposed Thrift Store Lamb Mold: Fabulous Find 390

Thank God it's thrifty Friday, Friends! Do you keep a list of things you'd like to find when you're thrifting? This week I scored an item that's been on my hope-to-find list and it cost me a whopping .25! Come see how I repurposed my bargain lamb mold as Easter decor.

If you've noticed that I don't thrift as often as I used to, there are two reasons. First, the selection in the local stores has really dwindled since the pandemic. Second, my needs/wants have changed so I'm more selective about my purchases. Can you relate?

She was pretty grimy when I found her but after a good scrubbing...

...it only took minutes to dress her up as repurposed Easter decor with a bit of pretty ribbon and a velvet flower from my craft stash. Not a bad way to spend a quarter!

  2. Can't believe the price you found that for! I actually purged mine that I had. I can totally relate to needs/wants changing. Somehow I can't seem to wrap my dish-loving head around that concept. 😉

  4. Loved your lamb. For .25, I would have gotten it, made one cake, and called it done. I always wanted to do a chocolate cake (to be a dark-faced lamb), frosted in white with LOTS of coconut!

  5. Hi Cecelia - First, 25 cents for that lamb is a STEAL! Holy smokes. You are a good shopper. I love how you styled your lamb with the eggs and the sweet ribbon. The little lamb looks quite happy in your home. Thank you for sharing this post on the Home Imagined Link party.

  8. Wow! A quarter? I love her. I agree, I feel like our home is overrun with so many items so I get it, cutting back is nice since I feel like it makes me be more creative using what I already have around our home. Happy Easter Cecilia!
