Pretty in Pink Tiered Stand Refresh

Happy Monday Friends! Do you have any dated decor tucked in a cabinet that could use a little love? I find it so rewarding to breathe new life into an older piece with a simple refresh and today I'm sharing my latest upcycle...

When I shared my Cupid's Valentine Dessert Buffet, I got lots of feedback on my floral tiered service stand...

...so I thought you might like to see how it looked before its recent refresh. I scored this pretty piece at a yard sale years ago.

Above, you can see the original colors of the small serving trays. I wanted to paint them the same shade and decided to use a soft pink that wouldn't detract from my whimsical Cupid's arrow runner. The color is called Baby Blush.

Freshly painted and reassembled, I felt it needed a little something extra...

...so I grabbed a few of my dollar store peonies and my handy fishing line. I double knotted the line to attach two flowers.

Never underestimate the power of paint and pretty flowers!

I'd like a dollar for every different way you have used those peonies! I love it! Shows how versatile a Dollar Tree bouquet can be! Your imagination is limitless! I think I still loved the dress form decked out the best! That blush pink is becoming one of my favorite colors--so far in everyone else's house!!!
