Happy Monday, Friends! Can you believe that we're half way through November?! It's been a minute since my last 15 minute fix, so today I'm sharing a whimsical Thanksgiving lantern that you can create in no time...
You'll notice my lantern has two pairs of vintage Pilgrims, but you only need one. I featured these adorable miniature chipmunk Pilgrims on top because I didn't want to crowd the inside of the lantern. I found them at Hallmark back in the eighties and they never fail to bring a smile to my face.
If you don't have any Pilgrims on hand, shop thrift or dollar stores and remember, they don't necessarily have to be a matching pair. Look closely and you'll see that my male Pilgrim is an orphan Hallmark figure while the female is a Gurley candle. Before arranging your Pilgrims, add something simple in the background like eucalyptus, wheat stems, or acorns. You'll also need an LED candle. Simply arrange your smalls inside the lantern until you're happy with the results. If desired, add ribbon trim to the lantern handle. That's it--easy peasy!
Love your Thanksgiving display. We have those pilgrim candles.
