Thank God it's thrifty Friday, Friends! I've shared before how I inherited my love of thrifting from my maternal grandmother, Mo-maw. When I spied this doily covered napkin holder, I instantly thought of her. To my recollection, she never actually possessed a doily covered napkin holder, but Mo-maw did crochet and she had oodles of doilies. Perhaps because of the red rose center, it also made me think of Valentine's Day so I created a unique display for a few of my vintage valentines. Available
I also scored more crochet thread for the basket on my hearth.
Love this pretty Charleston plate. My mother and I rode in one of those charming horse drawn carriages when we visited there several years ago. Available
Seven sweet rose colored crackle glass bud vases that will look lovely filled with blooms. Available
I enjoy using these chunky little wood signs in vignettes, occasionally.
Until next time, happy hunting!
The doily is sweet. I have one similar to it only it's not on a napkin holder. It looks cute the way you styled it. I like the chunky sign too. Hope your allergies aren't troubling you too much. Pollen counts have been skyhigh here.
