Happy Tuesday, Friends! It is almost autumn and I am delighted to join 14 blogger friends for the Fall Tablescape Blog Hop hosted by my sweet friend, Rita from Panoply! Today I've curated a charming breakfast table setting blending an assortment of vintage, handmade, and thrifty treasures

If you've hopped over from visiting Jennifer at Celebrating Every Day Life, wasn't her cozy table setting lovely? When I style my seasonal tables, I usually have a few sources of inspiration. When I found these pretty daisy checked plates on clearance, I knew they would pair beautifully with my vintage jadeite.

These DIY succulent pumpkins also complement the soft color palette.

I was so smitten with the delicate daisy dish pattern that they inspired my first crochet project in decades--you can read more about my chenille daisies, here!

I added sunny fresh daisies...

...and acorns for my sweet vintage orphan squirrel shaker!

Here's a wider view of the breakfast table.

Do you prefer coffee or tea, and would you like a blueberry muffin...

...or perhaps a croissant?

Happy almost fall, y'all!

Such a pretty table! Love the gingham check plates.
ReplyDeleteCecelia, happy autumn! Your bright yellow flowers make me smile, and it's always a treat to see your green jadeite that I have long admired. I'll have coffee and one of those blueberry muffin. Thank you!
ReplyDeleteCecelia, your jadeite collection is beautiful and I look forward to seeing it on your tablescapes. I love your chenille daisies, so perfect with your plates. Please pass me a blueberry muffin. It is always a pleasure to hop with you. Happy Fall!
ReplyDeleteCecilia, I have always admired your Jadeite collection. You have created a lovely table with the jadeite and daisies. I love the flatware pocket. The squirrel is darling with the corns. The chenille daisy is so cute. Coffee for me and blueberry muffin sounds wonderful. Always a pleasure hopping with you.
ReplyDeleteYou were so right, Cecilia – your new daisy plates are perfect with your jadeite! They couldn’t have matched any better if they did it on purpose! Lovely! The little white pumpkins top them off beautifully! And how fun to make some little daisies to put on that adorable flatware pocket. I’m inspired by your creativity – it’s been a long time since I did any crafting. Time to get back to it! I’m sure I’ll need a blueberry muffin with some tea in order to work up the energy! 😁 Thanks so much for the inspiration, it’s always so fun to share these hops with you!
ReplyDeleteCecilia, you get more mileage from your vintage jadeite than anyone I know! I purged most of mine this spring and summer in my antique booth, but did save a few place settings. Your daisy plates are the cutest! And I love your crocheted daisies too. Those would make great takeaways for guests. Darling succulent boos make for a great transition of the season we're heading into! Let's not forget those rascally squirrels - cute to look at, but boy, they can cause a lot of damage gnawing on things they shouldn't! Thanks for joining the Welcoming Fall blog hop, it's so fun to share all the varied looks.
ReplyDeleteCecilia, there are not any blueberry muffins left as the above stylists had their pick. So I will have a croissant please with my tea. Love your Jadeite as always. The hand made daisys are a perfect addition for your table. And who can resist a cute little squirrel? What a find on your gingham plates that match your Jadeite so perfectly. Great job as usual. Have a great and wonderful week.🥰🍁🌻🐿️🐿️🐿️🍎
