Greetings Friends! I've mentioned before that I enjoy browsing our local Pier One. Sometimes I am inspired to create a knock off for less. Others, I see inexpensive items that can be repurposed like these spheres turned sassy snow lady!

Have you noticed the variety of spheres PO carries? When I saw the sparkly white ones, I instantly thought "snowman." Mind you, this was before the vast population of snow people I have recently acquired thrifting--see others here! However, since I had already grabbed one $2 and two $1 spheres, I was committed ;) First, I hot glued one of the small spheres to the larger one. Next, I glued the other small one on top as the head.
It wasn't until I started to dress my snow person, that I realized she was a sassy lady just waiting to be accessorized. I added tinsel wire arms, a lace scarf, button brooch and burlap ribbon purse. The bling on her brooch and purse are from a broken bracelet I kept for just such an occasion--you never know when you might need bling for a snow lady!
Now she needed a stylish hat...a wine cork topped with a felt bow and vintage beaded earring!
Last, I wrapped some tinsel around a small plastic lid to keep her from wobbling--voila!
Before I go, just wanted to give you a heads up on some early Christmas clearance that begins today and runs through 12/26.
Or maybe you're already thinking ahead to conquering clutter in the new year:
Oh cute! I like your sassy snow lady! Her bling is perfect. :-)

What a great idea! She's very pretty. I agree, you never know what you might be able to use those bits and bobs of jewelry for! They certainly make for great bling! Happy holidays! xoKathleen
