Greetings Friends! Earlier this week, I shared a tour of my home in A Very Thrifty Christmas. It was also a party for you to link your thrifty Christmas treasures, projects and decor. In case you missed it, click here! Today the tour continues in the kitchen...
You may remember the holiday scarf, vintage thermos and tins above, from recent finds. Add holly, jolly jingle bells and a favorite vintage scale next to Ginger Grand's cherished music box--it plays Oh Christmas Tree and he requests it every Facetime chat! I found it last year at my favorite thrift store.
On the left...the jadeite love begins! You can see how I created the mini jello mold wreaths here.
Jingles the elf, contemplates what to bake...
...while a company of nutcrackers welcome back door guests!
Have a holly, jolly Christmas--it's the best time of the year!
Red and white vintage aprons hang by a sweet dollar store canvas.
A few views of my snowman inspired tea party created with thrifted finds.
You can see the rest here.
This vintage inspired Frosty was last year's clearance from World Market.
A tiny church and bottle brush tree vignette adorns my window sill and
on the counter, a basket full of jadeite and vintage whimsy.
My kitchen feels festive and I am ready to tackle some holiday baking!
Merry, merry!
Beautiful! I'm loving all the shades of green! Have fun baking!
ReplyDeleteI love jadeite too, Cecilia - yet another similarity in our tastes. Very festive kitchen, and I would be inspired too!
ReplyDeleteThe jadeite dresses up nicely for Christmas, Cecilia. Your kitchen looks delightful! I can just imagine sitting there in your cozy kitchen. Have a blessed week!

The only place I have seen more jadeite is at an antique store! Lovely and unique!
ReplyDeleteCecilia ... I think that little Elf wants you to bake him some cookies. Love how you have decorating showcasing your Jadeite collection. Of course, everything else looks great too.
ReplyDeleteHappy Christmas celebrations.

The green of the jadeite goes so pretty with red and makes it all look like a lovely old fashioned Christmas. I just love that music box! I have an elf too but never thought to name him...so cute!!
ReplyDeleteNot sure what happened but when I thought I was commenting here it went to your Christmas bike post! Sorry!
ReplyDeleteso much fun, love all your vintage, thanks for sharing, Sandi
ReplyDeleteLove vintage things, but especially kitchen things - so classic and fun! Also, fun to think how they were used in the holidays of old. So festive for the season! ;) Looks great Cecilia!! Merry Christmas wishes to you. xoxo
ReplyDeleteLove that jadeite, but am especially crazy over the vintage scales. I have a couple of sets and love them. I want more but the hubster says no more. ..lol...hugs!
ReplyDeleteOh how I love your jadeite collection! You do such a great job pulling it all together. Fabulous!
ReplyDeleteYou had me at "jadiette!" :) Love it! Collected it while in college, and it was plentiful and much cheaper. That was over 20 years ago, of course! Your collection is awesome and displayed so well! ~Rhonda
ReplyDeleteooooh I have a soft spot for jadeite too! Love all your vintage touches and realized I may suffer from the same thrift store addiction!!
ReplyDeleteYour jadeite collection is fabulous! Everything in your kitchen blends perfectly with it :)
ReplyDeleteBe still my heart!! LOVE all your jadite!! and love it with red!! I have 2 vintage knee hugger elves from my childhood.
